I have seen a photo. It appears to be a dog with issues.

I wonder if they're planning on taking a DNA sample.

Looks like coyote that got all the hair burned off it.

QUOTE
He sent blood samples to Texas A&M University for testing and gave the carcass to a friend and fellow taxidermist near San Antonio.

"He" being Butler, the guy who brought it in to the taxidermist, Jerry Ayer (who, according to the local Blanco County News, is a world reknowned taxidermist).

It looks like some kind of dog to me too. A really weird lookin' dog, but there are plenty of those. I don't think chupacabras are reported to be that big, are they?

I thought they had wings.lol. I have studied the footage. I am now reasonably convinced it is a coyote with issues instead of a dog maybe. Who knows?

The question is, how do witnesses get this:

I reckon by the same route that people get to 15 foot tall bigfoot. icon_biggrin.gif

I should maybe state for the record that I do not, and never did, think that this a chupacabra. I'm almost certain it's not a coyote, but that doesn't make it a goat sucker. I think if a black-skinned golden retriever could mate with a hairless whitetail that the offspring would look a lot like this critter. Other than that, I'm clueless.

Pretty cool, though.
